West Cornwall HealthWatch is holding a special public meeting with a panel of speakers to explain and discuss the NHS "Neighbourhood Health" proposals.

The Government has promised a transformation in the National Health Service. As well as immediate priorities to get better access to GP appointments, improve A&E, and cut hospital treatment waiting time, it has a new focus on creating a Neighbourhood Health Service.
The NHS says that is plans for this "neighbourhood health focus" will transform care to become more community based, improving access and integrating services across health and social care.
It says it will provide care close to home, improve patient experiences and focus on preventive health.
Work has apparently started to set up Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) alongside "community hubs" with the aim of delivering more services locally.
