- Discussion about Patient Participation Groups at GP surgeries, and how some are much better than others!
- Poltair: news that the closure is now going out to public consultation starting in September. It is understood that NHS Kernow and PCH 'want more care in people's homes, and plan to calculate their spend per head of population on all beds and compare with Devon'. West Cornwall HealthWatch has concerns that using nursing home beds, and sending specialist nurses there, or into homes, would be an expensive option.
- Richard has launched a petition in support of keeping community hospitals, and now has 3000 signatures. This will probably be presented to Neil Walden at the start of the consultation
- Former member June Court has died: memorial service on 23rd August
