• Kath Maguire, Ollie Angove and Chris Goninan were co-opted onto the committee, joining the twelve members elected at last month's AGM
• Choose and Book:  We were pleased to hear from Peter Stokes that the phone calls to patients have been amended as from 2nd April, to offer the nearest appointment first.   Details on our News page
• Ramsay Health Care: We continue to liaise with others to try to ensure that the public realise the implications of opting to have their NHS treatment from a non-NHS provider e.g. Duchy


• Poltair: Following the publication of the Community Services Review, we are trying to find out how and what alternative provision can and will be made before any decision is taken to close Poltair

   
• St Michaels Hayle: We have concerns that pressures elsewhere in the NHS may be impacting upon St Michaels, particularly if staff are diverted to work at Treliske

        
• Local elections: Several members of the committee are standing in town and county elections next month

 
• The new health watch Cornwall organisation: has not yet replied to us


• The 'People's Commissioning Board': sounds intriguing, and we are investigating it
