DUE TO THE COVID 19 VIRUS MOST FOODBANKS ARE SETTING UP HOME DELIVERY SERVICES FOR THOSE ISOLATING. IT IS WORTH  CONTACTING  THE FOOD BANK IN YOUR AREA   IF YOU NEED HELP OR CAN HELP DELIVER ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES.

ALL HAVE SPECIAL PROCEDURES IN PLACE  IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT ADVICE REGARDNG SOCAL DISTANCING AND ESSENTIAL TRAVEL.  SOME SERVICES OFFERED DURING THIS CRISIS MAY BE LIMITED TO CONCENTRATE ON DELIVERING ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES TO THOSE IN NEED.

Foodbanks  provide  food and essential supplies to the most vulnerable  members of our society.  Those amongst us in short term crisis or those needing longer term help.

Many also offer help with benefits, wellbeing , housing and employment.

Always a friendly chat , sometimes with a hot meal and cup of tea. No food bank volunteer will ever be judgemental on  any ones needs or situation  – they are just there to help.
